This pencil crayon portrait was started when I invited Sarah to the Studio to pose. The painting in pencil crayons was completed from memory sometime after the initial portrait drawing session. In drawing from memory I was also able to add orchids to the background and to Sarah's hair. This long necked beauty feels like she's posing in a botanical garden. The botanical garden lives in my fantasy world and is meshed with the experience of capturing Sarah's slight smile and beautiful expression in my Studio.
