Lisa has taught private and group art lessons since 1985. On occasion her and a group of constantly changing former and current students have collaborated on massive, multi-paneled portraits. Three of the portraits are showcased here.

Lisa gathered a group of female portrait artists to create Risa Pieces. Risa (the model), youthful resident of Salmon Arm, always presents with a certain allure. Lisa thought a giant mulit-paneled portrait of her painted with pastels using iconic Canadian artist Joseph Plaskett’s “painting by addition” technique would enhance each artist’s style of mark making and reveal Risa’s beauty through many eyes.

Kaite and Snow made many visits to the studio and I was fortunate enough to be able to invite a number of students to create a collaborative piece. Light Within shows the joy of mother and child bonding over the delight of reading books aloud. This multi-panelled pastel painting was displayed in the Okanagan Regional Library Salmon Arm branch.
