We have hiked in Keystone Standard Basin for years.  The flowers float on the large alpine meadows like jewels.  The viewscape is vast without clear cuts.  Inquiring; I was told the area was kept natural (without logging) as it was Caribou habitat.  The uninterrupted viewscape of treed mountains is a breath of fresh alpine air. This painting is all about the beautiful vista of untouched wilderness.
